Hi guys... just a question.... I know we have all been serching online for the best price for our TC"s, but my question is about service and maintainance. If I'm in NJ and get a great deal on one in KY, what about service??? Can I go to a local dealer for service (even tho their price to buy the original tractor was at least $1000.00 more) or am I S.O.L. Interesting question eh????

Warranties are covered no mater where you go or buy.. but special favors are not... I'd pay an extra dollar for knowing that the deal I am buying from is going to give me good service and special favors! ....

My New Holland dealer came to my house and solved my warranty problems in my driveway on my TC40D. And it so happens that he had the best price. ....

I searched for months before I bought my tractor. For me it turned out that the local dealer gave the best price and I know he will be here if I have a problem. By the way I have 115hrs. on my tc29d and not one problem(love my machine). Good luck. ....

I paid $500 "extra" to my local dealer over the best price I found on my TC33D. The local guy had a good rep for service and support, the distant one (80+ miles) did not.

BeeFarmer is right about getting warrantee coverage anywhere, but not special favors. With about 20 hours on my tractor, I was putting in a drainage swale with the boxblade. I backed up over a large flat rock, which somehow managed to flip up and swing around in just the right way to snap off my hydraulic filter and the fitting to which it mounted (up inside the right rear wheel). I called my dealer (after hours) and left a message on the machine, explaining the problem and that I needed a quick repair. They were out there by noon the next day, having stripped the needed parts off a new tractor they had in stock to get me going again. This was clearly an accident, and not a warrantee item. I paid only for the parts no labor or "emergency house call" charges. Can't beat that kind of service.

CamperNJ, are you located in NJ? If so I was wondering what dealer you bought from. I am currently considering a TC25D or a TC29D. ....
